Ninja Turtles

Aiden found our game cube box and was looking at all the little pictures on the back of it. The pictures consisted of different games that you can get to buy and then play on your game cube. Well, Aiden found a picture of The Ninja Turtle Game. He then turns to me and says, "Mom, it has the Ninja Turtle game, they don't cut em' no slack." I asked him what that means and Aiden's reply to that was "They're harder than heck!" Do any of you recognize "They don't cut em' no slack?"

Cruiz's Birthday Bash

I made cupcakes for Cruiz's Birthday, and if you couldn't tell in the pictures, he LOVED them! He ate the entire cupcake, once he got over his hands being all sticky from the frosting. He loved his gifts, thanks to all the people that got him something.

Cruiz Turns 1!

I can't believe how fast the time speeds by when you have little kids. It seems like Cruiz should still be just a couple of months old. We love him so much, and it seems like he has been in our lives forever. It has been so fun to see him develop and grow and learn new things. We can't wait for the years to come...


The little newborn - Born 9/11 weighing 8 lbs. and was 20 inches long


2 weeks - Adorable!


1 month - Learned to hold his head up


2 months - Still sleeps all the time



3 months - Love to smile, especially at Mom, Dad, and Aiden


4 months - Starts eating rice cereal, Starts to sleep through the night


5 months - Smiles all the time


6 months - Starts eating Gerber baby food


7 months - Learns to sit up by himself


8 months - Rolls all over to get to the things he wants


9 months - Learns to scoot himself army crawl style, Tries little puffs (kind of like cereal for those that don't know, but they melt in your mouth) and gags on them even if they are crushed.


10 months - Can eat puffs and cheerios without gagging on them


11 months - Learns to pull himself up to stand


12 months - Eating regular food (but he is one of those kids that probably won't walk until he about 18 months.) Says "uh-oh, mama, dada"

Cruiz has been a mellow, relaxed, and happy baby since he was born. He has always taken good naps and sleeps well. We haven't found any food he doesn't like, or least doesn't try. He will do almost anything for food, even dive out or your arms while holding him. (Don't worry, I have reflexes like a cat.)
He absolutely loves his big brother Aiden and his daddy. His face and eyes light up when he sees them. Cruiz has the best big brother that is always playing with him and helping him. He just loves playing with Aiden and always follows him around. I love my sweet Cruiz and his amazing personality.

Kansas Residents

So we are finally moved in and things are going good here in Kansas. Caleb has been in school for 2 and a half weeks now, and he is extremely busy. We still have a lot of home fixing type projects on the house that are kind of on hold until I learn some new skills, or Caleb gets a good break. Cruiz and Aiden are liking it here, and are doing well with all the adjustments. As for me, I can't wait to have my house totally organized and box free, but that might be a while. I will post some pics of the house when it looks less cluttered and I can take some better looking pictures.


I love this picture! Aiden plays so good and nice with Cruiz almost always. That might change so I'll enjoy it while it lasts.


This is such a sweet picture of Cruiz. This is when he was sick with 105 temp. It was scary, but now he is good.
