Cute pics
This picture of Aiden has a story behind it. Let's just say that he needed his helmet and Diego gloves to climb this tree.
This is my favorite position that babies sleep in. How can you not love it? Cruiz looks so comfy with his bum in the air, and his feet crossed.
Aiden piled all these stuffed animals on top of Cruiz while he just chilled in the bean bag.

Our Boston Trip
I know I'm a slacker lately with my blog. But here is one of our most recent and fun things that we have done. (Prepare for a picture overload)
Caleb and I had the opportunity to go to Boston for a JRC Conference. Caleb's parents flew here to watch the boys while Caleb and I took off for a get-away trip to Boston. Some friends of ours also came, which made the trip that much more fun. Here a some of the great things that we did while we were there.
We went to the Cheesecake Factory that I have so badly missed since living in California. We ate too much yummy food, then brought cheesecake back to the hotel so we could enjoy it while playing games.
We got to visit with one of my favorite people in the whole world, Pres. Tanner. I was sad his wife couldn't make it, but it was great to see him and visit with him.
We had to see the famous Fenway Park. Just don't mention the Yankees in Boston. Let's just say I learned this the hard way. Drunk man, subway, scary!
For those of you who know Caleb and I well, this pictures represents our lives, and marriage. I'll give you a hint: Caleb = SLOW, Casey = FAST
Do any of you recognize this cool building? Wait for it, wait for it. It is one of the musuems that is used in the movie "National Treasure."
We didn't get to go see the real Cheers like we wanted to, so we settled for this replica.
This is the campus of Harvard University where the JRC Conference was held. The architecture of most of the buildings on campus was really amazing.

The Latest
I guess you could call me a slacker because I have not kept my blog up to date with what has happened in the last 3 months of our lives. It has been busy, fun, and a little crazy.
Here are a few pictures of some things that have been long overdue.

Watched the grandkids do a lot of this: (eating any food they could find, even if it meant eating it off someone else's tray.)
Saw the kids do a lot of this: (playing on the stairs was a huge hit with all the little tykes)
My personal favorite - Saw a lot of this: (My little niece is the same age as Cruiz, and she loved being on top of him. She would push him down, then lay on him. The best part was, Cruiz just sat there and let her do it each and every time.)

Cruiz's Mullet is Gone
Cruiz finally got his first haircut.
These pictures don't do the mullet justice. Cruiz had hair resting on the back of every shirt collar he would wear. Plus, his hair looked pretty awesome hanging over his ears.
The new "Doo"
Cutting Cruiz's hair wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I sat him on the toilet seat and he never tried to stand up or get down. I kind of think he was afraid to move. The hardest part of cutting his hair was that he wanted to see the scissors every time I put them near his head. And the saddest part for me is that his soft hair is long gone now.

The Little Sneak
I know I haven't posted forever, but I have good reasons. We traveled to Utah and Idaho for the holidays and had so much fun! I'll post more on that later.
One of the nights while we were in Idaho, I put Cruiz down for bed just like normal. I thought he went right to sleep because I never heard a sound after laying him down. Then when I came to check on him a few hours later, this is what I found. Somehow Cruiz had taken off his pajama bottoms and then his diaper, and had fallen asleep half naked. I guess the reason I was so surprised is because I have never seen Cruiz even attempt taking any clothing items off but his socks. Needless to say, I had to re-wash all the bedding.
